Role Overview
The Skilled AV Engineer plays a core role in delivering professional AV systems to exacting standards. You’ll deploy, configure, and test technology solutions including LED screens, video displays, audio systems, network cabling, and video conferencing equipment. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues or project leads, you’ll contribute to smooth, reliable installations that delight our clients. Your technical expertise and commitment to detail help ensure that every system performs exactly as intended on handover. This role works as part of installation team and will involve supporting the lead engineers and be supported by the junior engineers.
Engineering Roles – 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm but occasional out of hours and weekend work
Key Responsibilities
Install and support:
LED screens
LCD displays
Projectors
Audio systems
Network cabling
Video conferencing systems
Assist with LED configuration, commissioning, and fault-finding
Follow drawings, specifications, and method statements
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Required Skills & Experience
Proven AV installation experience
Good understanding of AV fundamentals and signal flow
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience with Novastar, Brompton, or Colourlight
