Junior Events Engineer

Band A – £26,000 to £30,000 per annum
Reports to: Head of Events


Role Overview

The Junior Events Engineer role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, practical environment and wants to learn the craft of live event build-outs and installations. You’ll assist with preparatory tasks, support build and de-rig activities, and gain experience with modular systems like BeMatrix and timber construction under the mentorship of more senior engineers. This role offers fast-tracked experiential learning and exposure to live events.

Events Roles – 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm but roles do involve out of hours and weekend work depending on event schedules.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with event builds and de-rigs

  • Learn BeMatrix systems and scenic construction

  • Support loading, unloading, and site preparation

  • Support maintaining events warehouse and receive deliveries/prepare collections

  • Follow instructions and safety procedures


Required Attributes

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Willingness to learn and travel

  • Full UK driving licence
